InnerFade plugin doesn't work (no fading) in IE 6/7

InnerFade plugin doesn't work (no fading) in IE 6/7

I'm using the InnerFade plugin on a few sites as an image rotator. The plugin works smoothly in FF and Chrome. However, in IE, the images don't fade, they just blink on then off.

The images I'm using are jpegs and I'm not sure if IE doesn't like fading jpegs, or doesn't like fading at all.

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if they got it fixed.
