Insert custom image background in footer

Insert custom image background in footer

Hello, o need a little help, i tried a lot change my background footer to insert/show a custom img button i can't, i created a nem theme with a new name "-g", i tried a lot, i already saw documentation but no sucess, can any one help, i really need background img and not just a color.
