Hey guys,

I'm very new to programming with jQuery... I'm using jquery with DreamweaverCC and I just trying to re-size

(Shorten) a button and a slider... I've tried for days now to change it... I was thinking that this should be somewhat simple...but I've tried everything I know to try...

I'm wanting to put a Button and a slider on a Mobile App... The botton and slider are the width of the page whether in landscape or portrait... I just need the button to be about an inch long... and the slider about 2 inches...

Sorry if this seems like a idiot question... :-)
