I need to estimate leaf area of my samples. I put my leaves on a sheet of A4. Then, take picture to sheet of A4 with leavs vertically. So I need to pixels of plant leaves to estimate leaf area. I have added a sample you can see below.

How can I estimate the leaf area by pixel counting method, is it possible to do it with jquery ?
