Is jquery accordion SEO friendly?

Hello, Is jquery accordion or tab features SEO friendly? Ive searched online but there are not too many recent answers. Because accordion is HTML markup so it should be SEO friendly, right? What if users is directed to the page through Google search, but can't find the keyword because the accordion's tabs are all closed. Will this affect user's experience? Many thanks!
