Is there documentation for using media.js ?
I'm having difficulty all the way round with jQuery in that I find great libraries and plugins, but I don't know where all the documentation or "users guides" for all of these things that are supposed to make life easier.
I'm just a beginner. Here's a perfect example of my question:
I want to embed an mp3 player in my website to just make a slight brushing sound on mouseover. I have the mp3 file I want. It's about a second long.
OK, after much searching I found the plugin called jquerty.media.js.
Sounds great, but this file doesn't give instructions on how to format your page for it and I can't find them elsewhere. What are people supposed to do? Guess at how to use this stuff?
Kinda defeats the purpose of simplification, doesn't it?
I finally found someone's problem/posting showing how they built a player, but theirs is defective... so what good is that?
A dearth of documentation or "Directions for Use" seems to be sorely lacking.
Is this part of the game for geeks? I'm just curious how to write this invisible player on my page and get it to fire on mouseover or on mouseenter. This issue has eaten up hours and hours of my day now....
Thanks, Mike Storer in Los Angeles.
