issues with iOS 8?

I'm getting complaints that my JQuery-based site doesn't work at all with the new iOS 8. I'm using version 1.11.1 as it was recommended as the version that still supported IE6.

Also, if someone could give me a pointer to a summary of what all I'm missing by not using the latest version, that would be excellent.
