jcarousel with multiple content divs?

jcarousel with multiple content divs?

I'm designing a homepage with a carousel for featured content- please see my comp below. I'd like the nav (the list in the lower left corner) to keep it's position, while the text description and image scroll at the same time. Is there a way to have 2 divs controlled by 1 link? Or, perhaps the text and image are wrapped in one big div, while the nav is positioned absolute by css? Any thoughts on the best way to achieve this with jcarousel or similar? Thanks!
