jqueru ui dialog drag mouse event is also processed on underlying map

Hi,
I'm using a jquery dialog on top of a map (gis application), when I'm
dragging the dialog the mouse event is also processed on the map
(zoom, pan...)
I want only to drag the dialog and not doing any action on the map.
Can you help me with this?
