jQuery-1.4.2 error in IE

jQuery-1.4.2 error in IE

I am using jQuery-1.4.2, with no issues in firefox (linux & windows), but my page does not load in IE (7 or 8, xp or win7). The page does not display, only the body background color, and I recieve the folowing error:

This is with the minified version, same error with the uncompressed, 
though the line number is 4710/4709, depending on which version of IE.
