[jQuery] Animated Menu

Hi folks
I've been trying to build a menu where an image follows to match the hovered link
Example: <a href="http://clearbar.co.uk/navtest.html">http://clearbar.co.uk/navtest.html</a>
Problem is the animate effects queue up, thus moving mouse fast can stack up pretty high.
Anyone know how I could get around this, or think of a better way to achieve this effect?
