[jQuery] Find next element after (follow up)
Thanks for the code suggestions, though I had to use the wrapInner plugin to get the <a> in there properly(seems to be the only way IE will make the entire width an active hit area). I just stumbled upon the li+ part when nothing else was working. Fortunately it did exactly what I wanted it to. Is this a feature? I updated the page with the new code and a few comments. So far the biggest bug I've found is that the menu doesn't hover over the content below it like a real select list does. Instead it just pushes all the content down, which in some applications might be acceptable, but I'd like to recreate a real select list if possible. I tried floats and absolute positioning, but nothing really worked properly.
