jQuery for random intervals?

Can jQuery be used to?........ say I have a one page website with a video that plays automatically when browsed to. Can JQuery be used to change the URL that the video plays from? And at random intervals? Or set intervals like every 24 hours?

I would like to have a different video play every 24 hours! :)
