jQuery gallery fade in and out?

jQuery gallery fade in and out?

Hi I'm new to jQuery and wondered if anyone can help me?
Im try to built a web gallery with a rollover fade and text colour change.
So when you rollover a thumbnail all the other thumbnails fade to 0.4 opacity and the one have rolled over stays at 1 opacity.
