[jQuery] get date / days

hi,
i need to know all days of a month / year.
for example today is friday 29. and the month got 31 days. ( at the
moment i just know that today is the 29. and every month got 31 days.)
2. 3. 9. 10. 16. 17. 23. 24. 30. 31. are weekend.
i need to know the name of each day.
i'd be happy about any help.
