[jQuery] How to bind Window Resize with richFaces?

I am trying to use the jQuery splitter with richFaces, which i am able to integerate using <rich:jQuery> tag. However, I am not able to make that "bind" function work with rich faces. I used the following query
<span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); background-color: rgb(102, 0, 0);"><rich:jQuery selector="window" query="bind('resize', function(){ $('#MySplitter').trigger('resize');})" timing="onload" /></span>
Can you people help me in binding it ?
