[jQuery] IE won't play my mov files (white layer above it?) using Media plugin

I've had the pleasure of implementing some of the jQuery plugins @ a
site I'm making:

If you open any of the video sites, such as http://www.heikewicht.com/portfolio-04.html
in firefox, the quick time player loads as usual. The same thing seems
to happen in IE, ALTHOUGH in IE (7 & 8) there is no visual after you
click the play button. Only sound. I turned off auto-play for this
reason but it will probably be enabled in the working version.
I have extended the size-parameters in the .js file +16px in width and
height to allow for the controller to show.
I tried adding z-index to the css, but to no avail. Any help
appreciated, as I'm new to embedded files. Thanks!
