[jQuery] is working with position:absolute a possible issue?

its top,left,widht,height values according the the detected user screen

know position:absolute is not recommanded, but i don't see any reason why
if you use it in a javascript-enabled context, allowing you to detect and
reposition things according to the user configuration. But i'm probably missing
