[jQuery] jCarousel help

Is it possible to use jCarousel to show images with flexible heights/
widths? For example, if I'm using the vertical display, widths are
fixed, but heights are not. This causes ugly spacing between images.
FYI - I'm using this with Drupal, but that's mostly incidental to this
query.
