[jQuery] jquery corner plugin and safari

with safari the backparts of the rounded corners appear as white.
I have tested this by looking at the http://www.methvin.com/jquery/jq-corner-demo.html
page.
is there a fix?
also I am using version 1.7
is there a more recent version?
