[jQuery] jQuery error only on IE?

[jQuery] jQuery error only on IE?

Error: 'style' is null or not an object
I'm getting this confusing error with jquery-1.2.1.js, but only with
IE. I think this may have something to do with applying attributes or
setting the class on a new element, but I'm not sure.
Any ideas?
