Sunnyvale for a Front End Engineer. Could very well be extended beyond

Start is ASAP & will last for 2 to 3 MONTHS.
Skills (in order of importance):
Primary: JQuery, JavaScript, CSS
Secondary: XHTML, EXTJS, JSP
Description:
Assist with UI development and standardization efforts from product/
feature conceptualization through prototyping, and implementation to
ensure our results meet customer needs, business goals and project
schedules.
Develop and document standards, design patterns, and re-usable front-
end components, review the work of others to ensure standards
compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work closely and Interaction Designer and Application Developers to
create functional UI components, prototypes, user task and interaction
flows, screen designs, user-interaction documentation
Work with teams author and maintain UI standards documentation,
including style guides, pattern libraries and other documentation.
Perform code reviews of the work of others to ensure standards
compliance
SKIILLS
Must have a deep understanding of JavaScript and the JQuery and EXTJS
frameworks and be able to write plug-ins from scratch.
Must have extensive demonstrated mastery of hand coding WC3 Standards
compliant, XHTML, CSS.
Ability to rapidly prototype interface designs in hand-coded
validating, standards-compliant, and semantically-rich code and be
aware of cross-browser compatibility and bugs.
Fanatical commitment to producing clean, quality code that is easy to
maintain and re-use.
Ajax and related web technologies a strong plus.
Understanding of application development lifecycle methodologies.
Knowledge of human factors and usability, best practices for interface
design is desired, but not required.
Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working
within cross-functional teams
Must be able to show recent project work and/or make code available
for review
