I wrote a Getting Started guide for jQuery. The first version is now available: http://fuzz.bassistance.de/jqueryDev/jquery-getting-started.html It definitley lacks some more CSS for a nice presentation. Apart from that, I invite you to read and try it and provide whatever comments you like.
