[jQuery] jQuery Validation Plugin noConflict issue

Hi,
I'm trying to use the latest version of jQuery and the validation
plugin. However, when I try to use jQuery.noConflict() I show 1 error
speficying that $ is not a function.
Any help regarding this issue will be fully appreciated!
