[jQuery] keydown fires twice in safari

[jQuery] keydown fires twice in safari


I'm trying to put together some keyboard navigation for a plugin I am working
on but the keydown function seems to fire twice when a key is selected in
safari. Is this a bug?

The alert fires twice only in the safari browser......
