[jQuery] newb: How to get google groups like layout

[jQuery] newb: How to get google groups like layout


All the boxes, background colors, and rounded corners done using
javaScript or css? Can I do similar layout, look and feel, with
jQuery alone(without images) or combination of jQuery and CSS?
