[jQuery] No isNaN function
Learning Javascript.
Windows XP Pro

MyEclipse 6.0.1

I was testing an example out of a book, at it appears as though there
is no isNaN function. I tested it outside of Eclipse in both browsers
by putting javascript:a1ert(isNaN("4")); in the address bar and I get
no response.
Am I missing something?
