I was recently impressed by this demo using "Adobe Edge" but I'm hoping there's a way via jQuery do recreate something of this nature for a community project. I want to take an graphic image and make it so when the user rolls over a certain point the map zooms in and shows some information about that spot. Just like below:

I have ran into Mapbox but it seems I'd have to combo another plugin-in to create something like above.
