[jQuery] [OT] twitter

hi friends,
now that jquery uses twitter, i might give twitter a chance. Can you recommend a good way to use it? A twitter client? Which?
i'm a bit afraid of the "distraction" it brings. but using it in my Greader is not very satisfactory. Any clue, welcomed !
