[jQuery] Select capital letters

I'm trying to style h1 and h2's on a site so the capital letters and
numbers are larger and a different colour to the lower case
characters.
I'm already using css to style the :first differently and i know
javascript must be the way to go to apply a style to the rest but I'm
struggling with the selector statement.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
