jquery seperating particular effect help please

Can be any but it is about SLIDE in this case. In demos section you can view source code but there is a button a selection. I just want to jump right into SLIDE effect with jquery function. For example it would do SLIDE effect by clicking on navigation or it would appear when it is actually loading page.
