[jQuery] slideDown jumps - even without padding set


Has anyone found a solution to this problem:

It uses 1.2.6, but I'm getting the exact same effect with version
1.3.1
slideUp works fine, but slideDown with an unspecified height produces
the jump of about half the elements actual height.
