I created a JQuery Slider for a website and have a problem with it taking a long time to load. With a slow internet connection, all of the image files are displayed on the page first (one above the other) until they have all loaded and only then does the slideshow start playing.

What I want to know is if there is a way of amending the code to improve performance?
