I recently discovered jQuery searching for a image slide show for a new web site. I have somehow managed to get it working with almost no knoowledge of it's syntax. I have been working with a problem now for some time and can not seem to move beyond it and thought posting for help here might work.

 

When the web page first loads the first picture is not centered, but almost. When the second image fades in it is centered, as well as all remaining images in the rotation, including the first image. So, appears to me the center code is not executed on first page load? Maybe someone has experienced this and can advise.
