[jQuery] sortable lists and php


I was wondering if anyone has seen this article and perhaps translated it to
jQuery?

I'm using the interface plugin for my list and I've been messing around with
it a bit, but I'm just not pulling it all together properly. My .ajax
callback will fire off the complete, success, and error functions everytime
and my database isn't getting anything. I'm not sure what I'm missing here.
