[jQuery] Superfish Menu

[jQuery] Superfish Menu


I'm having some trouble with superfish menus. first off I'm new to
jquery and these menus and do not completely understand what it is I
am supposed to do.
I've set up a dummy template to play wiht on the site I am working on
so that i do not mess up the real menu (in any case site is still
under development)
I've got links to jQuery set up (working as I've got the cycle plugin
operating correctly) and I"ve linked to the superfish.css and js files
- stuff is happening on the menu,but the drop down isn't dropping
down.
Basically I found the documentation rather sparse - just example code
with no explanations (not good for a newb like me) Anyhow page in
