[jQuery] Thickbox - spanish html pages & refresh

Hello,
We found the amazing Thickbox to use in a current web development, but I have a problem and a question:
Problem> The pages that I use are in spanish and the Thickbox shows it with ? instead of the special characters (á, é, ñ, etc...), do you know how can I resolve it? I have tried with "&aacute" but it didn't change all characters.
Question> In this point I have a question: how can I refresh the load page inside Thickbox?
