jQuery UI RTE

Hi All,
As the jQuery UI team is planning a RTE, I'd like to know if it could
be a good idea to work together on it, if possible using some of the
WYMeditor concepts/code, instead of writing another editor from
scratch.
Also, is there a planned feature list available ?
