Jquery-UI z-index handling while dragging

Hi folks,
I'm trying to locate the code for z-index handling while dragging and
dropping using jquery-UI.
What I am hoping to achieve is to fetch a list of all elements whose z-
index was modified by jquery-ui when an object was dragged and
dropped.
Is this the right forum to ask this question ?
