jQuery und DOM 3

jQuery und DOM 3

Hello,

I am working with jQuery and TYPO3 to build ceHTML, this means for a portal for TV. In the ceHTML specification, "http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/CE-HTML", they just support DOM 2. My question is if jQuery use in some way DOM 3. I know that at the time not every Browser support it, but some thing they do "http://www.webdevout.net/browser-support-dom".

I am asking this, because we have not find an test environment for the project, but I already starded the programming. This means, I can test it in a browser which just support ceHTML.
