JQuery Vs. Mootools...

JQuery Vs. Mootools...

Hey,

I have been looking into which JS framework I should begin to develop in.

First, i stumbled upon mootools. I found it really bad ass! I had no idea what Jquery was.

Mootools 1.2 is released, user forums are disabled and the interactive community sort of disappeared.

Which brought me to Jquery.

As of right now I am completely on the fence. I like mootools, I am hesitant to switch to Jquery. But it is apparent that there are much more Jquery users then mootools users (survey here). So it all kinda balances out.

I like mootools, but Jquery seems to have a more interactive community.

So I am asking what does Jquery have to offer that mootools doesn't ? - - - (besides the community, which will hopefully be made obvious by all of the posts that will follow this one)

so have at it. convince me to switch
