keydown and .which on Android

We're using the keydown event on a text field and determining which key was pressed using the 'which' property. This works on all tested browsers (desktop chrome, safari, ff, iOS safari) unless on Android. The .which property is 0. Are there any known issues with keydown and Android? The 'keyCode' and 'charCode' properties are also returning 0 on Android. Thanks!
