In the example I have taken the code from the JQM site (  http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.0a4/docs/forms/forms-selects.html )

The documentation says that if a option has no value it will be used for the header, but in the example the header is broken as I don't see the text and the close button is only half visible.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?
