listview in panels error

Hello,
i need insert listview in panel because i need insert custom icon, but wen i try this the lisview sre see wrong brcause the size is standard.
can i resize listeview for insert in panel?

Another question: why when i use panel only effects overlay works, if i add push or reveal appears double panel.
