I'm changing the icon on list item ('li') and the list is not refreshed. The code snapshot:

var listview = $('<ul data-role="listview" data-inset="true">'); ... var button = $('li#' + id, $.mobile.activePage); button.attr('data-icon', 'check'); listview.listview('refresh');

However the list shows the old icon.

Please assist!
