So, I have experienced recently how slow a listview is perfoming on iPads, iPhones, etc, and I thought there was something wrong with my offline web "app" example.

But then I tried the lists-performance example ( http://jquerymobile.com/test/docs/lists/lists-performance.html), and I was surprised to realize how slow it is as well. 

The issues is something like the one describe at this topic -->  https://forum.jquery.com/topic/possible-causes-of-extremely-slow-keyboard-in-ipad-phonegap-app, but even on the regular browser (no phonegap): " the ipad keyboard sticks and key strokes have a major delay between keystroke character and showing up in the input.".

I don't find it THAT slow when scrolling, b ut then when I use the filtering it is super slow.

Is anyone else facing this? Is there a way to work-around this somehow?
