Looking for a Jquery photo gallery with click on image navigation.

New to the forum with a first post.
I am looking for a Jquery slideshow plugin that works similarly as the slideshows here: http://aphotofolio.com/
When you click on the right side of the image, the slideshow advances.
When you click on the left side, it goes one image back.
Thumbnails would be great, but not a must.
My Jquery history:
I am half-way through David Sawyer McFarland's Jquery book. I have used his slideshow and added a preload function so it wouldn't be as jumpy.
I also used the cycle slideshow.
The problem is: as a professional photographer my possible clients don't want anything automated. They want to decide how fast they want to see my images. No tiny buttons.
I used the search feature for media plug-ins on jquery.com, but the search only came up with comments, not with actual plug-ins.
I'd appreciate help in this matter to more successfully navigate the jquery world.
