looking for uploader release and a question about it's 100Mb limitation
Hi.
I build a photo-cms, and want to improve it's upload functionality.
I use jQuery as my DOM-manipulation lib, one of the reasons that this jquery/flash combination in the uploader component seems attractive.
Problem is: I can't find a release of the uploader component anywhere.. Not even under <a href="http://dev.jquery.com/browser/trunk/ui">http://dev.jquery.com/browser/trunk/ui</a>
There's another implementation of a js/flash component with detailed callbacks: <a href="http://swfupload.org/">http://swfupload.org/</a>
I could use that i suppose.
So please tell me what the status of the jquery ui uploader component is..
I'd rather use something stamped with the jquery ui stamp, but it's gotta be released ofcourse ;)
As a second question i'd like to ask about the 100Mb limitation due to the flash component used.
Can anyone tell me if that's caused by MacroMedia's marketing ppl, or an actual technical limitation (found in apache for instance)..?
