First post here so please excuse any errors.

Building a new website for my club. Decided that 'moving' images - Ken Burns style - would look good so spent days on the web trying all sorts of stuff.

Eventually settled on Cross-Slide by Tobia Conforto which uses JQuery 1.4.1 and mootools. All went well in IE6 but IE8 has the images positioned everywhere left/right although OK top/bottom. Upgraded to JQuery 1.4.2 but no better. Understand there are issues with JQuery and IE8.

Have programmed for over 30 years, mainly database stuff, but no experience of Java.

How do I go about sorting this out? Any ideas would be appreciated.
