Main differences between jQuery 1.5.1 and 1.6

Hi everyone. I am on a tight schedule and need some assistance. I currently use jquery 1.5.1 and have had no issues until recently when IE10 was released. All of my custom built widgets work correctly in all browsers, except for a few in IE10. If I upgrade to v1.6 to test then my problems seem to go away, so my question is what are the major/main differences between v1.5.1 and 1.6 and how would it affect only IE10? I have looked at the changelog but I can't seem to figure it out as my js/jquery knowledge is somewhat limited.
